the story of the heart

for some time the heart had spoken
its whispers heard but left forgotten
to prove it wrong was my motivation
as I held on tight to my own subscriptions

All along I had heard its whispers but was determined to prove it wrong.
Because I wanted to hold on to the very same beliefs I had subscribed to for so long.

So the heart was ignored...
Neglected...

But that very day,
When yet again you chose to walk away...

The heart, finally jumped at the chance to be heard.
